Spring is finally here! Let’s be real though, I’ve basically been in Spring mode since the beginning of the year lol. We actually had a pretty cold “winter” in Florida this past year, but thankfully it’s started warming up over the past few weeks.
I think Spring might be my favorite season of the whole year! Not only is the weather beautiful (and my hair less frizzy), but I always look forward to all of the fashion trends this time of year. I love all of the pastel colors, floral prints, ruffle detailing, and flowy styles, and I think I would wear gingham everyday if I could! With that said, I thought I would share all of my favorite trends (from my favorite stores) of the season with you guys.
Which Spring trend is your fave?
Affordable Spring Dresses from Amazon
Amazon has become one of my favorite places to shop over the past few years! I think it’s the thrill of the hunt that keeps me coming back haha. I love finding affordable dresses that are also great quality to share with you guys. Some of the dresses I find legit look like you would find them in a boutique, including this one!
I can’t get over how flattering this dress is! My mom (who is almost 70 btw) bought it, and it even looks good on her. The top is smocked and super stretchy, and the skirt is a-line and very flowy. Overall, super comfortable and only $35! Wearing a size 4/6 for reference.
Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking
This quote from Devil Wears Prada always cracks me up…because it’s so true! Florals have been around since the beginning of time (I think), but there always seems to be a fun way to reinvent them every year. I’m personally loving all of the ditsy floral prints lately!
This dress is actually another Amazon find and seriously so cute! I mean, look at these sleeves! Not only is this dress super comfortable, but you can also wear it on the shoulder as pictured OR off the shoulder. If you find a dress that can be worn in multiple ways, I consider that a win! Under $35 and wearing a size small for reference.
Go for gingham
I literally “go for gingham” every single year because I love it so much! I especially love that gingham comes in so many different color options now, as opposed to the traditional black and white (even though that’s clearly my fave).
I know I’m late to the game, but I recently discovered Petal & Pup (which is where this dress is from), and literally die every time I shop their site. So many cute dresses for every occasion at such affordable prices. You obviously can’t tell in this picture, but the back of this dress is open and has adjustable ties. Seriously so cute (and comfy)! Wearing a size S/M for reference and only $79.95.
Pretty in pom poms
Another cute dress comin atcha! I have been loving the whole pom pom trend over the past year. I actually purchased this dress from Pink Lily last year and was excited to see it back in stock this year! I’ve also seen this particular pom pom/swiss dot combo pop up in tops and lots of other dress styles. So fun!
Just so you know, everything in this post is from my fave affordable boutiques. Just because I shop primarily at boutiques, doesn’t mean I pay designer prices. Some of my faves are Pink Lily, Red Dress Boutique, The Mint Julep Boutique, and Petal and Pup for reference, and almost everything is under $100!
Like a rainbow with all of the (pastel) colors
I always look forward to all of the pretty pastels this time of year! Put them on my favorite thing to wear (a maxi dress) and you’ve got my go-to outfit for Spring. When I feel like being comfy, but also want to look cute, I ALWAYS pull a maxi dress out of my closet.
This particular maxi is from LY, but I’m sharing a ton of other cute options below! Some of my go-to places for maxis are Pink Lily, Red Dress Boutique, and Lulu’s. They always have such cute options at super affordable prices.
(Tie) dye for styles this Spring
Tie dye is back babyyy! I don’t think it actually ever left, but I’m excited to see it in full swing again this Spring. Tie dye has been one of my favorite prints for well over a year now and is on everything from loungewear to dresses to shoes..and my favorite, graphic tees!
Graphic tees are always my go-to on the weekends. Pair them with jeans or shorts and sneaks, and have you’ve got the cutest casual outfit. Pink Lily is always my first stop for graphic tees! They also just came out with a whole line of Summer tees that are to die for. Sharing all of my favorite tie dye styles below that will get you excited for the new season!
