Have an upcoming trip planned to St Pete and have no idea what to do? Don’t worry, I got you! St Pete is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida, lots of great shopping spots, tons of unique restaurants and bars, and most importantly…breweries! Rounding up some of my fave breweries in St Pete below!
I’m not going to lie…one of our fave things to do on the weekend is eat and drink (within moderation of course..hangovers are no fun)! I mean you work hard so you can play hard right?! ‘
If you haven’t visited St Pete before, let me just tell you that there is a PLETHORA of restaurants, bars, and most importantly breweries here! The best part is that most of them are all within walking distance of each other, which makes for a really fun day of bar hopping!
I’m still in the process of visiting most of the breweries in St Pete, but I wanted to share my experience on the ones that I have been to so far! Don’t worry..there will be more to come!
(Side note: I highly recommend visiting downtown St Pete even if you aren’t into drinking. Like I said, there are sooo many delicious restaurants, and downtown also hugs Tampa Bay which makes for a really nice walk along the water!)
The best breweries in St Pete to visit!
3 Daughters is one of my fav breweries in St Pete! Not only do they have several delicious beers (including seltzers now!), but they have a huge warehouse filled with games. Beer and games…what more do you need?Usually on the weekends, they also have live music and food trucks set up outside. Definitely a good family friendly place to visit!
As far as beer goes, I would recommend trying the Beach Blonde Ale, which is a lighter beer with hints of citrus that is soooo refreshing! The seltzers are really good as well!
If you can’t make it over to the brewery, don’t worry! They sell a lot of beers from 3 Daughters in a bunch of local grocery stores as well.
If you’re looking for a brewery that is a little more low key, then St Pete Brewing is the place for you! They have a cute patio area with comfy seating, all the popcorn you can eat, and games (including Mario kart..which is my fav)!
The orange wheat and blonde ale are usually my go-to beers, but I would honestly recommend getting a flight. There so many good options to choose from! The pumpkin ale and Oktoberfest are some seasonal offerings that are quite tasty!
Sea Dog was one of my favorite places to visit when I lived over by St Pete Beach! Not only do they have delicious beers, but there food is really good too (the lobster mac & cheese is amazingggg FYI)!
I love the location on Treasure Island because it looks out onto a marina (which is really pretty), and it also has a ton of games! (I must really like games or something).
The blood orange belgian wheat and drift away pilsners are my fav, but they also have a lot of really great seasonal beers! I just tried the pumpkinhead with a cinnamon/sugar rim last weekend and it was sooo good! FYI-Sea Dog also just opened a location in downtown St Pete, which is a great place to stop for gameday!
