Fall accessories

It’s officially Fall!!!! It may not feel like Fall or look like Fall in Florida, but you better believe I’m going to start busting out all of my new Fall finds! Let’s be real…I’ve actually been in Fall mode for the past month, but now, it’s officially acceptable to wear booties in 80 degree weather. I may not get to wear a sweater for another month (or a couple of months), but I have started to incorporate Fall accessories into my outfits to transition into the new season, and wanted to share some of my finds with you! (FYI-I am a true believer that no outfit is complete with accessories!)

SHOES

Booties are by far my fav thing to wear for Fall! They literally go with EVERYTHING (and also give you an excuse not to have to get a pedi every other week)! Dresses and booties are definitely my go-to for Fall, but also look so cute with a pair of jeans..or skirts..or leggings (you get the point)! Also, seriously loving loafers right now…especially in snakeskin or leopard print!

BAGS

I honestly never really cared about handbags until recently. I always used to just invest in one nice one a year and then wear it with everything….BORING! There are too many fun and affordable handbags out there right now that need to be in my closet. Cross body’s are definitely my fav because they force me to only carry the things I need (since that’s all they fit). It’s all about lightening the load! Backpacks are also my fav for traveling!

SCARVES/KIMONOS

Scarf season…where you at? I may not get to wear a scarf for another few months, but you better believe they are on my radar. The good news is that there are so many different kinds of scarves out there for every type of weather (will probably have to stock up on the light weight ones unfortunately). I truly feel like a scarf is the finishing touch to any Fall/winter outfit! Kimonos are not only for summer ladies! If you’re ready for Fall (but the weather isn’t), this is the perfect item for you! The below kimono is from Francesca’s and has really pretty velvet floral detailing.

HAIR ACCESSORIES

You like my hair? Gee thanks…Seriously loving that hair accessories are back! I honestly don’t think I’ve really worn them since middle school (which was a longggg time ago), so I’m definitely making up for lost time! Can’t get enough of these knotted headbands that make me feel like Blair Waldorf. Especially loving the velvet ones with pearls! Hair clips and scrunchies have also made their way back, and although I told myself I would never wear a scrunchy again, I’m thinking these velvet ones might be an exception.

MISC

Honestly, it has taken me a really long time to get on board with the hat train. I don’t know if it’s my head or what, but I always feel like they look weird on me. After trying on a million hats, I finally found one that works for me and I’m thinking I might need another! (Figured out I need a hat that is a little floppy, as opposed to structured) Linking some other styles currently in my cart below.
